ORES AND RESIDUES

Non-ferrous metals are derived from a wide range of primary and secondary raw materials. Primary sources include ores obtained through mining, which undergo further processing using mineral beneficiation, hydrometallurgical, pyrometallurgical, or hybrid methods to obtain pure metals or metal compounds. Secondary raw materials comprise scrap, ash, residues, cakes, spent catalysts, and more.

Metals such as copper, cobalt, nickel, zinc, manganese, precious metals, and refractory metals can be recovered from both primary and secondary sources.

At Hydromet, our team possesses extensive experience in designing effective flowsheets for extracting metals from both primary and secondary resources. We have successfully designed numerous commercial plants that utilize both hydrometallurgical and pyrometallurgical techniques, showcasing our expertise in sustainable metal extraction from diverse sources.
